Thanks for your comments of kind encouragement and advocacy. I
could and should start carving even if the stamps come out rather odd
and lopsided;-)
As a special ed. teacher and as daughter who has 2 elderly
neurologically involved parents your comments about capability struck
home, literally.

You really should try your hand at carving. Once relaxed into it, I
bet you'll find it's a lot of fun and before long you'll see how easy
it really is.
